is looking for an energetic, organized, experienced Senior Crash Simulation Engineer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing crash simulations to develop and optimize EV body structure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program.
- Master’s degree or PHD is preferred.
- 8 years of experience in performing full vehicle crash simulations.
- Experience with using Ls Dyna, ANSA, META, HYPERWORKS and PRIMER.
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, USNCAP and IIHS.
- Knowledge of optimization tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of applying engineering fundaments in the development.
- Ability to work independently from start to end.
- Strong oral and verbal communication skills.
- Act as a team player and problem solver.
- Experience with correlation of CAE and Test results.
- Experience with FEA modeling of long fiber composite components is preferred.
- Experience on development of BOF body structure is preferred.
