Altar Group was founded with the vision of providing a level of service to architecture and engineering typically out of reach of smaller clients. Due to the success that has come with fulfilling this vision, we are seeking to add an architectural designer to our team.

This potential team member should have at least 1-2 years of experience in commercial building design and permitting. This position requires proficiency in Revit and basic AutoCAD drafting abilities. Please see the list of qualifications below.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic architectural calculations
• Prepare reports under architectural lead
• Prepare and review plans under architectural lead
• Have basic knowledge of typical code standards like International Codes, TDLR, ADA, Energy Code

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in architecture with 1-2 years of experience within an architectural firm
• Work in Revit and AutoCAD
• Work in MS Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in fast paced environments
• Communication and project management skills

Job Type:

Full-time: role will transition to be a hybrid position once decided by the Partners.
