Job Description:

As an Ambassador Nurse Practitioner at Altea Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in training and supporting new and existing Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, while embodying the culture and values of our organization. This multifaceted role encompasses various responsibilities aimed at ensuring exceptional patient care and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Training: Provide comprehensive training to new and existing Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, focusing on clinical skills, best practices, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Cultural Dissemination: Act as a representative of Altea Healthcare, promoting and reinforcing our culture and values within the organization and in external interactions.
  • Swing Coverage: Serve as a Float Nurse Practitioner to cover scheduling gaps and unexpected emergencies, ensuring uninterrupted patient care delivery.
  • Educational Material Design: Collaborate with the team to develop educational materials and resources for training programs, workshops, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Provider Support: Work closely with existing healthcare providers to address any concerns, optimize workflow efficiency, and ensure overall customer satisfaction within the market.
  • Clinical Responsibilities: Conduct clinical rounds and provide direct patient care, meeting a minimum patient volume requirement while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Mobility: Must be willing to commute up to 80 miles one way on a daily basis and work in various facilities within an 80-mile radius regularly.
  • Team Player: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, exhibiting a positive attitude, approachability, and self-motivation.
  • License: Licensed to be a autonomous practice NP in the state of employment.

Patient Encounter Requirements:

  • See an average of 10 patients per day, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to clinical protocols.

Pay: $165,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
