As the Product Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Develop, communicate, update, and oversee the Project Assurance Plan.
- Create and manage the quality tool plan, including the manufacturing validation plan (PFMEA, Control Plan, Capability Studies, etc.).
- Evaluate, document, and manage project risks and issues.
- Establish Quality and Environmental targets in collaboration with the Project Management Team.
- Ensure adherence to appropriate project management processes.
- Identify challenges and obstacles, escalating to the Project Manager and relevant departments.
- Guide the project management team to ensure high-quality project execution.
- Provide support and coaching to the project team on quality tools and methodologies.
Present project quality status updates at key milestones. - Represent the department in cross-functional quality forums.
- Address and resolve issues as they arise.
- Document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent field.
- Certification such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, CQE, or similar.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) credential recognized by PMI.
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Management within the Automotive or Heavy Equipment Industry.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
