Role: ERP Lead Engineer/ERP Architect

Location: Utah II Atlanta, GA

Job type: Contract to hire

Duration: 6 month (based on Performance will convert to hire)

Tentative start date: ASAP.

The ERP Lead Engineer is responsible for architecting, designing, and leading the implementation of comprehensive solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements for an automotive dealer ERP system based on a third-party low- code/no-code platform.

The ERP Lead Engineer in this position is expected to be hands-on.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participates in the conceptual phases of identifying and solving business problems and initiatives in Automotive Dealership ERP systems.
• Assists with the evolution of standards, policies, principles, and procedures to guide technology implementation on a low-code/no-code architecture platform.
• Facilitates technical design reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural standards of the organization.
• Contributes to functional, logical, and technical architecture for the ERP project and a distributed ERP platform initiative; and collaborates with the greater architecture and project teams on implementation.
• Identifies necessary non-functional requirements (performance, security, operational concerns) and participates in addressing them.
• Participates in hands-on development and production support of extensions built on top of a third-party low-code/no-code platform
• Recommends options for the resolution/prevention of technical debt and to facilitate rapid development and implementation.
• Helps develop and execute test plans to test functional software and infrastructure and helps drive consistency and automation.
• Recommends improvements to processes and technology that improve the effectiveness of the team.
• Helps drive best practices for software development, coding, performance tuning and integration.
• Contributes to the definition of engineering processes, standards, and technologies / frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education
• 9 to 18 years of working experience on engineering and architecture teams
• Experience building ERP application functionality and doing enterprise integrations in the Cloud using modern technologies (JSON, REST APIs, messaging/queues), should understand modern UIs, databases in the cloud.
• Experience in delivery of SAAS applications in AWS , Knowledge of User authentication and security
• Good understanding of accounting principles within the ERP system
• Experience as a Technical Lead on large-scale software implementations with design and hands-on development in engagements similar to Professional Services
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with teams across multiple time zones.
• In-person presence in the office per company policies and some amount of travel as needed
