* High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
* Previous circuit card assembly/hand soldering experience.
* Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills including hands on J-STD-Class 3 skills (must have the skill/but not necessarily the cert., Can cert them on the job if they have the skills).
* Basic proficiency on computers and applications.
* Ability to read and follow work instructions and reference engineering drawings.
Nice to Haves:
* Associate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
* J-STD-Class 3 Certification Job Description:
* Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. * The majority of the work will be circuit card Assembly/Soldering and Epoxy applications. * A magnifying microscope may be required for certain circuit card soldering and epoxy applications.
* Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents. * Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. * Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
