Altitude Pediatrics is Hiring a Front Desk Medical Receptionist Near Grand Junction, CO

We are looking for an AMAZING human to join our team as a full-time front office receptionist!

If making a positive impact in the lives of others is on your daily to-do list, you will love working with our small but mighty team. This is an incredible opportunity to join us in caring for our little patients.

The right candidate will bring excellent customer service and appropriate skills to their role Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls. Routes calls appropriately, offering voice mail or redirection of calls as necessary.
  • Greets patients and assists them as appropriate.
  • Explains financial requirements to the patients or responsible parties and collects copays as required.
  • Answers telephone screens calls, takes messages, and provides information.
  • Obtains, verifies, and updates patient information, including insurance coverage, and provides support services to patients and medical staff.
  • Requests, locates, sends and receives patient medical records.
  • Schedules appointments for patients either by phone when they call or in person after an office visit.
  • Ensures updates (e.g. cancellations or additions) are input daily into master schedule.
  • Use customer service principles and techniques to deal with patients calmly and pleasantly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
