Vice President of Sales – International Air and Ocean Freight Our client, a leading provider of both international and domestic freight services, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to drive growth in their international air and ocean freight services. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share in international forwarding (Air & Ocean). Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and fostering relationships with prospective clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their logistics needs and delivering tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, warehousing, and transportation, to ensure seamless execution of both inbound and outbound freight services. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive advantage. Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and negotiate pricing with clients, aligning with company objectives and profitability targets. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and business development initiatives. Requirements: Proven track record of success in business development roles within the logistics industry, focusing on international air & ocean freight services.
