Requirements

• Current WI License
• CPR / BLS Certification
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu

Please note that travel RNs may be required to float to other units.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (6 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM)
• Every other weekend and holiday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures, standards of care, and State laws / practice act.
• Document according to standards of care.
• Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and / or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units / departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
• Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, and appropriately escalate to the appropriate chain of command.
