What We're Looking For:

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA). As a CNA/HHA, you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide essential laundry assistance, ensuring patient comfort and hygiene.
• Administer timely medication reminders to enhance patient health management.
• Implement robust patient safety measures, prioritizing their well-being.
• Promptly report patient health updates to supervisory staff, ensuring optimal care.
• Craft nutritious, light meal options and offer feeding support as required.
• Accurately monitor and document patient temperature, maintaining health records.
• Facilitate patient mobility through expert assistance with walking and movement.
• Lead and engage in exercises as needed, promoting physical activity.
• Maintain meticulous patient care documentation, adhering to established protocols.
• Uphold strict privacy and infection control policies, ensuring a safe environment.
• Deliver compassionate bathing assistance, respecting patient dignity.
• Perform efficient light housekeeping, ensuring a clean and comfortable living space.
• Offer enriching companion services, including engaging in reading and letter-writing activities.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Current CPR certification.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.
• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be hired as Home Health Aides and will perform the same essential job functions.
