Essential Job Functions
- Identifies revenue cycle problems and implements solutions for improvement.
- Responsible for operations of patient business services, insurance verification, and workers compensation authorizations.
- Works collaboratively with revenue cycle managers to create education for new employees, ongoing education and new system changes.
- Works with managers to provide education on how to resolve denials and follow-up timely.
- Builds relationships with department directors and managers to provide education on denial prevention and areas of opportunities across the organization.
- Identifies system optimization opportunities to foster maximum system utilization and reduces manual intervention within revenue cycle processes.
- Works with denial analysts to identify key trends and provide education to specific departments.
- Develops data management and analytics that support transformation and innovation initiatives. Leads the collaborative effort with subject matter experts.
- Leads business process improvement initiatives and work with key leaders to analyze and present findings.
- Works closely with reimbursement analysts to train on system enhancements and optimizations
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
