Job DescriptionWe are seeking an individual to assist in our Powder Coating Department. The qualified candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and be a team player. This position will require some flexibility in daily job duties as dictated by the workflow. This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. We have weekly pay periods and offer competitive hourly pay based on experience.
Job DescriptionThe Apprentice Powder Coater is responsible for supporting the Lead Powder Coating Supervisor.
Rate of Pay: $16.00 – $18.00, based on skill level and experience.
Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm, overtime as required (that may include some Saturdays)

Job DescriptionThe Apprentice Powder Coater is responsible for supporting the Lead Powder Coating Supervisor.
- Wash and blast material before powder coating.
- Prepping, hanging, and packing of parts for the paint line.
- Assist with the removal of finished parts after baking/curing.
- Provide paint gun and paint booth maintenance.
- Perform quality checks of finished products (flaws, paint bubbles, scratches, etc.).
- Understand the powder coating application, automatic and manual, and know how to handle a spray gun.
- Assemble and organize finished parts to avoid paint damage.
- Titrate wash and understand the cleaning process.
- Regulate temperature and air circulation in drying ovens.
- Maintain power equipment and tools.
- Observe and adjust gun settings per instructions.
- Label finished and unfinished parts for production.
- Operate specified equipment while following production procedures as instructed.
- Perform assigned tasks and functions following safety procedures.
- Perform light assembly and material handling duties.
- Light operation of machinery and tools.
- Perform minor repairs and general facility maintenance tasks as required.
- Understand various curing processes of different types of powder.
- Complete powder tracking forms as needed.
- Miscellaneous shop duties as needed.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
- Manufacturing experience is a must.
- Prior painting experience is not required.
- Experience with PVDF Kynar (a huge plus)
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to handle physical workload in a shop environment.
- Experienced, reliable, willing to work, and drug-free.
