DescriptionSenior Quality Assurance (Senior Associate), Tax Technology Alvarez & Marsal’s Taxand practice is seeking a talented senior QA (quality assurance) to join the tax technology team. This hire will be responsible ensuring high-quality world-class software. Your software will operate in all facets of A&M Taxand; from internal tools that improve efficiencies to client facing enterprise systems that compete at the world level.

How you'll contribute
- Consult with clients and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the problems
- Ensure a high level of quality across our software portfolio
- Work directly with the engineers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
- Design testing patterns and methodologies that apply across the practice
- Work directly with leadership to provide insights on the health and quality of our solutions
- Contribute to all aspects of a project’s lifecycle: documenting requirements, solution development, system configuration, testing, debugging, and support

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology & Accounting and/or a Master’s degree in related field
- A practical approach to building, testing, and troubleshooting software
- 3 years of experience assuring a high quality of software development
- A natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work
- A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Excellent communication and business writing skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
