Job description
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Communicate with managers, customers, or other drivers using mobile devices & scanners
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Assist with general warehouse duties when not on deliveries
Experience:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or relevant position
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles, such as vans, box trucks, or similar commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of local routes and neighborhoods for efficient deliveries
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages and navigate various types of terrain
- Experience with route driving and logistics is a plus
