Logistics company located in Dayton NJ is seeking a Gate Guard for our main distribution center.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Control access point of entry at distribution center for visitors, vendors, drivers and team members.
• Check in and out drivers
• Take pictures of loads, seals and generate paperwork
• Communicate concerns to the management team immediately and effectively.
• Maintain all applicable logs, updates, files.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure property remains secure.
• Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve while remaining resourceful, courteous, and professional.
• Must be team-oriented.
• Implement the site-specific processes and protocols.
• Control and/or monitor vehicle movement within the distribution center to specific areas.
• Observe suspicious activity and/or potentially unsafe conditions. Document, report, follow-up as required.
• Other duties as assigned

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm based on operational needs. Hours can vary occasionally.

$16.00-$17.00 per hour OT after 40 hours.
