AM/PM is seeking a skilled individual to join our Long Island NY and surrounding areas team as an NCR Encor Grocery Store POS Systems Installation/Support Specialist. This position plays a crucial role in our grocery store team, focusing on implementing and supporting POS technology products for our customer base. Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizes proactive and responsive communication with clients across various channels, including phone, email and in-person interactions, to ensure their needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Develop expertise in Point of Sale (POS) systems, encompassing both hardware and software components through internal training and documentation.
  • Prioritizes the cultivation and maintenance of positive relationships with clients, recognizing their importance in fostering loyalty, trust, and satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, meticulously updating our internal ticketing system to track progress and resolutions.
  • Employ remote customer support tools proficiently to maintain high levels of support for our clients, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
  • Collaborates effectively with vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely and effective support for clients, leveraging external expertise and resources as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, conveying ideas, information, and instructions clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Utilizes time-management techniques to allocate time appropriately, ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines and commitments are met.

  • Availability for overnight travel.

Assets:

  • Previous experience in a grocery store environment.
  • NCR Encor POS, SMS POS, SCO, or ESL knowledge.
