About You:

ABG is in search of talented and personable customer centric Spirits Specialist to join our growing Spirits team. ABG is seeking someone who’s a self-starter with a passion to manage their own territory, focused on selling our spirits portfolio primarily to the on-premise channel. Targets include, but are not limited to restaurants, bars, hotels, country clubs, and other On-Premise accounts, along with selective off-premise accounts. The Spirits Specialist will be responsible for achieving volume and distribution goals by opening new accounts and managing and expanding existing relationships by partnering with our customers to implement creative menu placements, programming, activations, and more. Responsibilities:

• Actively collaborate/communicate with our distributor partner representatives and leadership
• Proactively call on net-new accounts to open distribution for our brands
• Manage and nurture existing accounts to maintain distribution and expand volume per placement by implementing innovative programming 
• Be responsible for case volume and revenue growth
• Work with the greater ABG sales team to relay feedback, new ideas, develop and roll-out POS, and share cross-sell opportunities 
• Be knowledgeable in all aspects of our sales and customer service policies, objectives, and initiatives
• Promotional activity for exposure and growth of the brands in both channels.
• Candidate will report to the General Manager for the Spirits Division with a dotted line to the Regional Sales Manager

Qualifications:

• An outgoing personality and the confidence to cold call accounts
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Self-starter eager to spend the day growing our business and being a thought partner to accounts
• Understanding of the 3-tier beverage system
• Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends
• Local territory knowledge preferred
• 3 years’ experience in the beverage industry is required
• Valid driver’s license
• Live in Austin, Dallas, or Houston

Expectations:

• 4 days in market, 1 day in office
• Consistently meeting / exceeding volume and distribution KPIs
