The Fleet Assistant position is vital to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our fleet operations. We seek a reliable and skilled Fleet Assistant to manage over 30 company vehicles successfully. Must be able to conduct maintenance to confirm vehicles are safe, clean, and ready for drivers. This position demands an individual who can meticulously work in a fast-paced environment and possesses basic mechanical knowledge. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional attention to detail regarding the needs of each vehicle, including maintenance and cosmetic repairs.

· Maintain a healthy fleet roster by performing daily inspections of company vehicles to ensure they are in good condition.

· Fix vans with minor issues when needed.

· Work with vendors to schedule repairs and maintenance for the fleet, and secure rentals when necessary.

· Manage parts inventory to ensure sufficient stock is on hand.

· Update company systems with vehicle information.

· Handle company insurance claims.

· Perform rescue and/or pick-up routes if needed.

Skills and Experience

Ability to perform light cosmetic repairs.

Strong data entry skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic or in vehicle maintenance.

Schedule: Wednsday to Saturday 6 AM – 3 PM (Time varies)
