What will you help us create?
The RoleAs a Technical Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to design, manage, and deliver innovative consumer products, technologies, and tools. In this role, you will:
You will have a background in connectivity standards for consumer devices. You will need to deep dive into technical issues in the stack and bring in the right resources to resolve problems. You will manage programs end to end and ensure stability of our OTA releases.
A day in the life
As a Connectivity Technical Program Manager, You WillWork with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements.
Use your leadership abilities to drive cross functional development on new solutions from design through delivery.
Work with remote teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines.
Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control
Work on metrics, dashboards, Jira burndowns, bug scrubs and operational efficiencies
About The TeamThe team works on middleware software and therefore connects with third party vendor firmware with upper stack application developers. As a fundamental technology component the team connects across the whole devices organization and is involved in all product and device features. Technical Program Managers are a critical facet of the organization and this role will report to a TPM manager.
Basic Qualifications
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Work with subject matter experts to lead and drive new technology initiatives and evaluations for next generation Amazon products and features
- Work with component leads to drive evaluation and adoption of new vendor technologies and HW
- Work with vendors and external partners to deliver device software and firmware technologies into our products
- Dive deep into all wireless technology protocols.

- 2 years of technical product or program management experience
- 2 years of software development experience
