We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining and operating our facility's vital systems, including industrial air compression, automation systems, water treatment, and electrical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance of all utility systems while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot converyor systems
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot compressed air systems, including compressors and air dryers
- Manage electrical distribution systems and perform preventative maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain detailed operational logs for all utility systems
- Perform filter replacements and maintain various filtration systems
- Execute cleaning and sanitization procedures for storage tanks, process equipment, and distribution lines
- Operate and maintain climate control systems, including cooling towers and heat exchangers
- Actively participate in safety initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or related technical field
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Basic understanding of water chemistry and microbiology as applied to industrial processes
- Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling and execution
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and equipment manuals
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
