DescriptionSummary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Executive Assistant & Event Coordinator. This critical role will oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale initiatives, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Manage calendar (schedule appointments, respond to meeting requests, etc..) for team Director
  • Plan and execute internal and external marketing events (agenda, secure speakers, food and beverage, etc….), being on-site when needed
  • Lead and manage special projects, from initiation to closure, including timelines, resource allocation, communication, project budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient resource utilization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and understood
  • Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness; help the full team build project management best practices, tools, and organizational policies
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP certification is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello)
  • Experience in managing cross-functional and global teams is a plus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications
  • 2 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience in a marketing role
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with a Content Management System (e.g. Wordpress, Drupla, Joomla, etc.)
  • Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $54,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $116,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
