Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS’s most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.
As a product marketing manager for digital sovereignty, you will be part of a team that develops messaging and positioning that highlights how AWS services and offerings can help customers meet their sovereignty requirements. You will work with product, sales, and PR teams to create compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions, as well as support marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and AWS adoption. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology services and translating how technology can be used to secure an organization's data and workloads as they move to the cloud.
This role must sit in Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, San Francisco, CA, Santa Clara, CA, or Atlanta, GA, USA. Relocation offered to these locations only from within the USA only.
Key job responsibilities
  • Develop audience-specific messaging, marketing content, and go-to-market materials for digital sovereignty initiatives
  • Develop detailed campaign project plans, creative briefs, and digital strategies, including campaign goals, messaging, calls to action, segmentation strategy, adoption campaigns, marketing distribution channels, success metrics, and campaign schedule
  • Define business metrics, measurement plan, and testing plan for related campaigns
  • Work effectively across AWS with groups such as product, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve business goals
  • Develop and support the AWS presence at conferences helping customers learn how AWS is architected to be the most flexible and secure cloud computing environment available today

About The TeamSales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
  • - MBA and/or computer science, engineering, compliance, security, or technology background

The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market.
