DescriptionThe Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF) Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) Associate Experience team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results oriented Principal Program Manager to drive the strategy, delivery, and expansion of MyPerformance and other associate performance management support systems. MyPerformance aims to empowers associates with access to information to track their own progress, explore growth avenues, celebrate milestones, and foster collaboration with leadership, which enables individuals to reach their personal goals, all in a unified kiosk and mobile experience.
This position combines passion for fulfillment center associate experience with strategic thinking, hands-on planning, and the ability to define and deliver clear and simple solutions to our customers in an ambiguous and complex space. The Principal Program Manager is responsible for communicating, aligning, and receiving buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders on their projects for all operational planning cycles. They are responsible for driving the early life cycle of projects from inception through beta testing and pilots to network expansion and adoption while capturing success KPIs. As part of the MyPerformance program, this individual must be able to navigate a complex web of stakeholders to provide updates and set goals of VP level caliber.
This program manager will oversee a project portfolio that requires them to work closely with a wide variety of teams to ensure the best product and program is being delivered to the end-user. A high level of cross-team coordination, project management, executive presentation, strategic planning skills, quantitative analysis, and the ability to influence senior leaders across cross-functional operations, program, and product teams is essential.
While we prefer candidates who can be located out of Bellevue, Nashville, and Arlington, we are open to other locations as long as the individual can work from an Amazon site for at least 3-days per week.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Define business requirements, translate requirements into project plans, manage implementation activities across large group of stakeholders, develop and execute rollout plans and ongoing support.
- Scale services and tools: Design processes that scale with the business’ growth in volume, complexity, and geographic dispersion.
- Relentlessly advocate for end users by looking around corners and anticipating the user experience in order to hold partner teams to high standard of execution.
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks, drive resolution of critical issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and propose corrective actions to keep initiatives moving forward.
- Collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and process excellence.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and automation, identify gaps, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive solutions.
- Define, track and communicate appropriate performance measurements to stakeholders, status reporting to leadership, create reports and metrics to facilitate analyses driving data-driven decision making.
- Travel up to 50% for summits and site visits

Basic Qualifications
- 7 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7 years of program or project management experience
- 7 years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
- Experience with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems
