Amazon is Hiring a Product Manager, Private Brands Compliance Systems and Services Near Seattle, WA

DESCRIPTION

Our mission is to ensure the safety of our Private Brands products across the globe. Private Brands Product Safety and Compliance (PBPSC) is looking for results-driven, customer-focused, and innovative Product Manager to join our Product Team. This person will manage a global product deployment strategy, while working cross functionally with vendors, procurement, finance, operations, and software teams.
Key job responsibilities
- As a Product Manager, you will own PBPSC's technology expansion roadmap for new Private Brands programs and through the use of Data Exchanging Services, Machine Learning, Operations and Compliance Systems.
- You will define success through clear goals and metrics and report out to leadership teams by contributing to MBRs, QBRs, and OP Processes.
- You will identify and discover opportunities to optimize existing processes while building efficient, accurate, and secure tools for our org through creative design.
- You will monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with target dates.
- You will liaison between PBPSC (our team) and Centralized Tech teams to surface requirements and present impact statements for prioritization.
- You will support the creation of PRFAQs, BRD, and Working Backwards Plans to ensure the right products are delivered.
A day in the life
Our technology group is the backbone to ensuing security, speed, and execution of our program at scale. In this role you will work hand-in-hand with internal teams, business partners, technology groups, and external clients to develop world class automation. This includes deep diving existing processes and future program, providing proposal of potential tools and features to develop.
About the team
Private Brands Product Safety and Compliance (PBPSC) owns defining, communicating, and executing the product safety and compliance requirements and specifications for Amazon Private Brands products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
- 3 years of product management experience
- Experience developing operational processes and technologies
- Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity
- Experience performing financial or other quantitative analyses

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Tableau, Essbase or Cognos)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
