General Expectations:

1. This leader will work closely with the global financial systems team, global business teams driving CAPEX purchases, accounting operations teams, tax and others and represent the accounting organization to various stakeholders.

2. In this role, the candidate will be part of a team that collaborates with business, finance and technical teams to deliver world class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible.

3. This person will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment.

4. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements and prioritize.

5. Demonstrated experience in leading teams to accomplish unusually complex challenges is expected as this is an ongoing requirement for this position.

Background: Accounting or Finance Project Management and Data Analysis

The CAPEX FBI team is looking for an individual to be a superstar owner of our big datasets and their related reporting automations. This position would be expected to provide strong data manipulation, deep-diving, and analytical skills to help identify business stories and trends from raw datasets. Other components of this role include the following:

• Invention of visualization/presentations to assist with communication data analysis to stakeholders

o Establishing trends and explaining related conclusions

o Adapting presentation based on stakeholder group

• Ownership of data aggregation and standardization from multiple sources

o Ability to create queries on various databases

o Ability to extract and merge large volumes

• Overall data analytical skills (with emphasis on understanding financial data)
• Ownership of data and related documentations standardization. Including but not limited to stakeholder communication, SOPs for data processes operations and definitions, etc.
• Ability to work with tech teams to develop enhancements for the existing reporting tool
• Program Manager experience (5 years), dealing with global stakeholders within the Finance/Accounting/Procurement space
• Preferred candidate would be interested in FTE conversion
• Alteryx and SQL experience is a plus

In addition to the skills outlined above, this individual will also be required to:

• Maintain consistent ownership of scheduling working/review meetings, involving coordination between multiple EAs, calendar, and potentially time zones. In addition, this role would be expected to organize minutes of the meetings (attendees, action items, timelines, conclusions, and feedback/comments.)
• Facilitate completion of follow-ups and conversations, such as drafting communication, organizing inputs and approvals, etc.
• Drive ownership of team accountability for project tracking and metrics (through tools such as Asana and Amazon Projects.)
• Own organizing data gathering exercising and its aggregation.
• Establish a repository and organizing the information structure for the team. This could entail (but not limited to) ensuring a centralized location for team working files, document sharing, and collaborative files. As an extension, this role would also help centralize the knowledge of multiple team members into a unified format, helping retain knowledge and deep-dive learning.

Basic qualifications:

• 5 years of program or project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules

Contract Length: 6 Months

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $70 - $75 per hour
