Come help us add new presentation capabilities for Alexa devices. Our goal is make Alexa an instantly familiar personal assistant that is always ready to help or entertain on any device. At the core of this vision is a close-knit Alexa Presentation team that’s dedicated to providing software developers and AI systems with the tools, primitives, and services they need to easily create engaging customer experiences across an increasingly diverse set of devices that Alexa supports.
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will work closely with Product Management, Software Engineering, and User Experience design groups to understand product vision, requirements, and customer use cases and lead your team in the development and execution of appropriate test strategies for Alexa. You will set your QA team’s technical vision and roadmap, as well as develop and track project schedules. You will be a critical member of the leadership team, providing input into product and release strategies.

They are deeply committed to creating world class feature and regression test automation frameworks to help teams scale. They are able to develop and drive high-level test strategies and take a hands-on approach to helping their team implement them. They are dedicated to building a strong and highly performant QA organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business and development teams to understand product vision and requirements
- Understand how elements of the software ecosystem work together and develop QA approaches to fit the overall strategy.
- Responsible for development of test strategies, creation of appropriate test harnesses, and test execution.
- Oversee development and execution of test plans, as well as monitoring and reporting on test execution and quality metrics.
- Work with a team of quality engineering professions to ensure highest quality product delivery.
- Build and develop a performant QA organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years of quality assurance engineering experience
- 3 years of quality assurance teams management experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience managing manual testers
- Experience managing automation testers
- Experience testing web technologies and back-end services
- Experience identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results with a strong QA background
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals
- Experience transforming QA programs from manual to automation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $132,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $228,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
