In this role, the Commercial Operations Lead will have experience to innovate, to set priorities, develop and execute strategic plans, and make decisions with significant business impact for Amazon Operations. This role will work closely with Product, Tech, Sales and Marketing, identifying gaps in processes, developing solutions, and tracking and reporting on performance metrics to optimize revenue generation and improve commercial efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Develop, implement and scale marketing and sales processes and performance initiatives for Amazon Operations to optimize revenue generation and improve commercial efficiency
- Partner with the Marketing, Sales, Product and Tech teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to improve sales pipeline conversation and reduce duration
- Define and manage marketing and sales pipeline metrics (conversion and duration)
- Set the direction and manage cross-functional projects related to sales processes and performance, ensuring that project objectives are met on time and within budget
- Lead change management efforts related to sales processes and performance initiatives, ensuring that stakeholders are engaged and supportive of the changes
- Leadership experience managing a team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of sales processes and performance initiatives.
- 5 years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
