DescriptionAmazon is seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Senior Finance Manager to support our Inbound supply chain network. In this role, you will drive profitability and customer experience by directly impacting the development, planning, and execution of our Inbound supply chain network. The role will require quickly learning and fully grasping the business’s economics to understand the big picture, gaining proficiency in our data to capture the right details, and communicating clearly and succinctly to effectively partner with business leaders and influence decisions.

The base pay for this position ranges from $137,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. You can root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and teach the business how decisions affect costs in their sites and create new mechanisms as they are needed
- Provide level-headed guidance during unexpected events
- Proven expertise managing, evaluating, analyzing large data quickly to create meaningful business reporting
- Ability to self-start and create direction in a rapidly changing and often ambiguous environment
- Partnering with Vice Presidents and Directors to drive strategic initiatives and long term success
- Creating, improving, and maintaining business/financial metrics, reports and reviews
- Communicating financial and business results including variance analyses to senior business leaders
- Creating, improving, and maintaining financial models
- Gathering analytical insights and developing financial frameworks that inform business improvement
- Oversee team responsible for reporting of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and operational performance metrics, including financial commentary
- Help the company have clear visibility on the end to end Inbound supply chain starting from the vendor through the final storage location.

Basic Qualifications
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)
- 10 years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 8 years of finance experience
- 5 years of direct management experience
- MBA
- 5 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 5 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- 7 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
