AMZL Finance seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to help lead and oversee critical functions in the Fixed and Variable cost space as part of the Field Finance Controllership Channel. The Finance Controllership team is focused on designing cost effective strategies, driving network-wide process improvements, and supporting strategic decision making through financial modeling and reporting. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following abilities: they influence business owners, effectively lead meetings with senior leaders, support thoughtful decision-making through data, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment. This individual will also play a key role in decision making and developing financial insights as part of monthly and quarterly business reviews. This individual is able to drive network scale initiatives, enforce standard work, review and action purchase requests, develop and lead cost business reviews, and provide ad-hoc analysis on large or ambiguous tasks.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with your business partners and influence decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and teach the business how decisions affect costs in their sites and create new mechanisms, as they are needed.
- Expertise in collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data to create meaningful analysis to support business improvements through cost optimization.
- Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in operating to budget.
- Leverage cross-functional partnerships with Central Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to drive network projects.
- Lead standardization of network processes to promote consistent and accurate financial reporting including mechanisms to drive adoption.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3 years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- MBA and/or Professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CPA)
- Proficient in SQL, Quicksite, and/or advanced modeling in Microsoft Excel.
