DescriptionSub-Same Day is looking for a Sr. Program Manager with a delivery record and proven program management experience to own a significantly complex and cross-organization building design initiative for our faster than Same Day fulfillment centers. Robust understanding of fulfillment operations including under-the-roof and on-the-road processes, engineering product solutions and development of long term roadmaps. This role will play a critical role in designing the future building design solutions for the Sub-Same Day business. It requires a high-level of ownership over the strategic design and implementation, the ability to think outside of the box, willingness to disrupt the current processes to create a new process, the ability to understand one-way vs two-way doors, make trade-off decisions and influence stakeholders. This role will scope highly complex building design solutions, identify risks/opportunities in strategies, effectively force multiple and communicate to senior management to accelerating business progress.
This role can be located in Bellevue or Nashville corporate offices.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Driving significant complex building design solutions to improve the end-to-end fulfillment process (cost and quality)
- Partnering with cross-organizational teams to plan, organize and execute building design enhancements to achieve our 2024 goals.

- Confidence operating in a highly ambiguous and iterative business space
- High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
- Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
