DescriptionThe Autonomous Endpoint eXperience (AEX) team is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical backend services and a unified data intelligence platform. As a Sr. TPM, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of highly available, secure, scalable, and performant backend services, as well as a cutting-edge data intelligence platform that ingests, stores, analyzes, learns, and monitors billions of events daily with sub-second latency.
Our team is owns key infrastructure used by each Amazonian and handle large dataset to derive Analytics and ML based decision making.
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. TPM, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our mission-critical programs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, facilitating technical design reviews, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless program execution. You will lead planning sessions, manage project roadmaps, and make strategic decisions to overcome challenges and mitigate risks. Additionally, you foster a collaborative environment, and continuously improve processes to enhance productivity and efficiency. In this dynamic role, you will navigate a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and leverage your technical expertise to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions.
Basic Qualifications
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
