Warehouse Supervisor 3rd Shift

The warehouse supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and directing hourly associates. The warehouse supervisor will oversee those who are responsible for supplying the production departments with raw materials, shipping containers, and distributing all inbound materials to various locations in the plant.

• Provide Leadership, discipline, and support to ensure the highest level of Safety, Quality, Housekeeping (5S), and professionalism within the shipping department.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, transfers, restocking and aisle inventory maintenance.
• Ensures products and supply stocks are distributed and received in an efficient manner. Assists with inventory.

• Performance metrics and warehouse management system (WMS)
• Identify / standardize work procedures and prepare work schedules.
• Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Implements best practice warehouse design by planning layout to optimize space, product flow and product handling systems to maximize productivity.
• Ensures products and supply stocks are distributed and received in an efficient manner. Assists with inventory as needed.
• Perform cycle counts on raw, WIP, and finished goods inventory and packaging as needed.
• Maintain grounds outside of the plant, including outside trailer storage areas.

Requirements

Requirements :

• Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of three years experience in a materials function in a manufacturing environment
• ERP / Shipping systems.
