Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a hospital pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and possess strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, including IV infusion and inhalation techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Ensure medication compliance by packaging, labeling, and delivering prescriptions
- Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in communication with healthcare professionals
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment
Job Details :
Title : Inpatient Pharmacy IV Technician
Contract : 13 weeks (High Possibility of extension)
Shift : Schedule is varies from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm with rotating weekends
Guaranteed Hours/week : 40
Pay : $45/hr
Location : York, ME
Requirements :
Atleast 1 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
Maine Pharmacy Technician license
