Title: Occupational Therapist

Location: Walla Walla, WA
Duration: 13 Week Contract (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Day (5x8 Hours)
Time: 8:00 AM to 16:30 PM
Guaranteed hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Responsibilities may include but not limited too.

• Conducting assessments of patients' functional abilities, including physical, cognitive, and emotional skills, to determine their individual needs and goals for therapy.
• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, considering factors such as their diagnosis, medical history, and personal preferences.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions and activities designed to improve patients' independence in daily activities, such as self-care tasks, mobility, and productivity.
• Providing adaptive equipment recommendations and training to help patients overcome physical or environmental barriers and enhance their functional abilities.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
• Educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and strategies for managing daily activities more effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
• A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE or AOTA.
• Washington Board for Certification
• BLS (AHA)
• Covid19 Card Booster

Salary: $2,500.00 - $2,800.00 per week
