JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 2-Year Associates degree required
• Valid Stat of Maine RN license
• BLS Certification required
• CPI training must be current prior to start
• At least 1 year previous experience in mental health nursing Required
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required
• Excellent team player
• Ability to manage stress appropriately and make decisions under pressure
• Flexibility required to provide coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Shift: Days 7a-7p/Night 7a-7p

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a psychiatric clinic setting
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' mental health status and report any changes to the medical team
- Conduct patient assessments and assist in developing discharge plans
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner for documentation
- Perform IV insertions, specimen collection processing, and other clinical procedures as needed

Experience
- Previous experience working in a psychiatric or mental health setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical imaging, trauma medicine, emergency medicine, and discharge planning is advantageous
- Proficiency in IV insertion, specimen collection processing, and clinic procedures
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center is a plus
- Valid nursing license as a Registered Nurse

Pay: Up to $2,350.00 per week
