The Marketing and Membership Specialist will assist the Engagement Team in execution of marketing and membership strategies. The membership responsibilities include assisting with the management of member services and serving as a primary point of contact for all current and potential members. The specialist will support members, ensuring that members understand the value of their benefits, have a seamless user experience, and address member needs and concerns. The coordinator will support member experience and communications and maintain key association communications channels. In addition, the specialist will also assist with marketing tasks including implementing copyediting/copywriting, working with program teams to finalize copy, graphic designs, website content, and play a key role in coordinating the education programs and events. Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary initial contact for membership inquiries and coordinate appropriate responses in a timely, organized and efficient manner
Process and input data for new member applications and create new member profile and billing record.
Maintain integrity of membership database
Facilitate group billing preparation as part of the annual renewal process. Assist accounting with renewal queries and the distribution of member renewal notices and invoices.
Assist in monitoring and responding to inquiries through social media pages and implementing social media plans and posts; as well as website content
Assist in maintaining compliance with the organization’s continuing education accreditations and awarding of participants’ CEUs/PDHs
Act as the primary backup for webinars, assisting with planning, communication, and execution
Assist with the management of departmental and association surveys, including building and distributing surveys, creating reports, and analyzing results
Education And Experience
High level of organization and detail orientation is required
Microsoft office proficiency a must
1-2 years office experience in a busy office is required, preferably in a marketing department
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
Approximately 10% travel
Must have a valid passport as international travel may be required
