These positions last up to 90 calendar days, but good performers may be offered permanent positions. All candidates must pass a physical/drug screen and background check. Shifts are 12 hours on either days or nights. WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Assistants will aid in all aspects of operation of lines including change-overs, machine start-up, running and shut-down.
Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety.
Assist operator in running all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, print specification, color folders and standard operating procedures
Assist operator in setting up jobs according to established S.O.C.'s (standard operating conditions), and to report and follow up on any discrepancies to the supervisor
Assist operator in ensuring all material is free of defects
Ensure all jobs are run in accordance to all written specifications including manufacturing specs, customer specs, print specs, color folders and standard operating conditions
Work with press operator to minimize job change-over and down time
Assist and aid maintenance to get the machine back on line and productive.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs
Willing and able to stand and walk for an 8/12 hour shift
Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting
Frequent use of wrist and hands
Frequent stepping up and down from platforms

Previous manufacturing experience
Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment
Physical Requirements:
