Job Description ROLE OVERVIEW Safely operate a slitter/rewinder to produce film while meeting all specification and quality requirements. Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with all other team members throughout your shift. Actively maintain a clean and organized 5S work area, and adhere to all company policies and procedures. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Act as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities Support and actively participate in department process improvement and safety initiatives Promotes safety culture by positively communicating safety concerns/risks to co-workers, Leads, Supervisors, Managers, visitors, and all others in the facility Immediately notifies Co-workers, Leads, and Supervisors/Management of Quality concerns/issues Maintain a respectful and collaborative work environment Operate slitter/rewinder and assure all jobs are run in accordance with all written manufacturing specifications including manufacturing specs, customer specs, and standard operating procedures Properly complete all paperwork including production reports, SOC reports, cleaning logs, QA reports, etc. Works to maximize machine efficiency through effective job change-over, machine start-up, shut down, and clean-up time Analyze problems and take corrective action Maintain company requirements for product safety and cleanliness Assist in the training and development of all slitting team members Perform general assistant responsibilities when needed Additional duties as assigned WHAT WE VALUE Safety focus Diligence to quality Results Orientation Leadership Continuous Improvement Mindset Problem Solving/Conflict Resolution Collaboration/Team Orientation Organizational Acumen/Time Management Positive attitude that promotes the Amcor High Performance Culture WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU Lead with safety as a value Passion for continuous improvement Considerable and effective communications skills, both oral and written Able to work both independently and with others while maintaining a positive attitude Good working knowledge of the RF system, SAP and Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook The ability to multitask and work against competing deadlines Three to five years of related manufacturing experience preferred Experience in a similar role would be an advantage before assuming these responsibilities Our Expectations We expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
