The Estimator is responsible for activities related to estimating all the elements of project cost including labor (manual and non-manual), materials and permanent equipment, supplies, consumables and expenses, and construction equipment rental and operating costs, contingency, escalation, program risk, etc.

Responsibilities Include:

Managing the estimating framework, systems, and resources to deliver an effective estimating service to Project Managers, Program managers and Senior Leaders.

Leading the provision of quality estimates for all project phases and stages.

Determining the quality of information provided for the compilation of estimates and the suitability and classification of estimates to be prepared.

Advising the project and program teams on all aspects of estimating.

Monitoring and auditing the quality of estimates (and associated underpinning), including subcontractor submissions.

Overseeing the hierarchy of estimates within their area and assess the implications of implementing changes.

Supporting the PCM and SPCM in peer reviews process and checking of estimates approval.

Supporting the Commercial department in analysis of tenders and fair price checking and subsequent analysis of supply chain submissions prior to inclusion in estimates.

Supporting the analysis of project outturns against baseline for LFE and Knowledge management.

Ensuring the accuracy of data communicated and reported to all Stakeholders.

Highlighting any current or potential issues to the PCM, SPCM and Project and Program Managers.

Maintaining compliance with approved processes, procedures, and systems.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Education/ Experience:**

Bachelors degree or equivalent in finance, engineering, or business administration or demonstrated equivalent of education, training and 5 years industry experience estimating Facility Maintenance projects and/or planning and scheduling experience.

Candidates must possess great work ethics and ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to handle multiple priorities with interruptions and still meet deadlines.

Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills.

Self-starter capable of working independently and as a member of a team.

Excellent organizational skills vital.

High proficiency in MS Excel and Internet research
