We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Director, Finance Planning to oversee global financial planning, encompassing both long-term and near-term planning activities.

What You'll Do

The Director will work across the Brands and Corporate to lead the global financial planning including overseeing and coordinating the end-to-end planning cycle. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this role will play a critical role in coordinating the global planning calendar across the brands, regions, and group functions, reviewing plans to ensure alignment with KPIs and targets, and ensuring efficiency in the process. Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial planning process, including long-range strategic planning, annual business planning, and quarterly forecasting.
  • Establish planning cadence and align all key stakeholders on timelines and deliverables.
  • Drive planning guidance and target setting process with senior management, in alignment with corporate strategy and strategic finance teams.
  • Coordinate with brand, region, and group business leaders to gather inputs, assumptions, and drivers for financial planning activities.
  • Lead review and sign-off of financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with established targets and KPI’s through presentation of financial plans, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning and forecasting processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Partner with Finance digital Center of Excellence to oversee the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of new planning systems and tools.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects, as needed, to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. We are seeking a candidate with 10 years of progressive experience in finance and particularly in financial planning and consolidation. Other qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proven record of project management abilities to drive planning initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, financial modeling, and forecasting approaches
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning software; experience with SAP ERP systems and Oracle Planning.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to adapt quickly to change and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
