Position Summary:
Technician's holds a tremendous amount of responsibility in the success of Amerestore Restoration as a
company. This position will be expected to be hard-working, dedicated, on-time every day, ability to take
direction and then manage/coach others to perform, ability to meet paperwork and communication compliance,
mentor, and coach technicians. The Technician will present themselves in a professional manner, including
but not limited to dress code, hygiene, attitude, commitment, timeliness, and positive. Positivity is Contagious!!
Reports to: Senior Lead Technicians
Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
• Basic Job knowledge
o Minimum of 1 IICRC certification or similar
o Minimum of 1 year in the restoration business
o Ability to photo document properly / close up / corner to corner / important items.
o Ability to perform services and physical duties.
o Ability to complete and set up proper type of restoration job based on scope and direction
provided by senior lead technician.
o Ability to run hand tools and basic power tools proficiently.
o Ability to run moisture meters, IR and understand the basics of psychometrics.
o General knowledge of construction and restoration
• Communication on phone and email
o Availability to answer and respond to calls and emails in a timely manner.
o Ability to communicate with senior lead on a consistent basis.
o We are an emergency service company – 24/7/365.

• Technician Training (this is done daily)
o Mentor technicians on the following:
▪ Paperwork compliance
▪ Quickbooks Time accuracy
▪ Basic restoration knowledge – “the Amerestore way”
▪ Customer service
▪ Cleanliness, detailedness and job site success
• Performing work the Amerestore way
o Recognizing risk and safety on projects to ensure safe work sites for employees and clients.
o Provide great customer service.
o Keeping and maintaining clean and safe jobsite
o Minimizing risk to clients and staff
o Maintain a positive attitude.
o Availability to be on call.
o Availability to storm duty or cat duty (may include travel)
o Sense of urgency regarding projects and communication
o Valid Driver’s license and legal to work in the USA.
o Ability to keep Clean/organized vehicle.
o Complete timesheets daily
o A strong eye for detail and willing to SAY SOMETHING if you see something.
o Reporting information to senior lead technician
o Willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to complete the job 100%
o Job requires dedication for a 24/7/365 position (we are an emergency service company servicing
the entire country)
o Other duties when assigned.
Physical Demands
The ability to fulfill any activities normally expected in a restoration/construction management, to include but not limited to
• Participating in field type situations
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, work for extended periods of time
• Ability to travel when required (primarily scheduled travel)
