Job Summary:As an LVN at our group home, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to adults with intellectual disabilities. Your responsibilities will include medication administration, nursing assessments, and coordination of patient care. You’ll work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and safety of our residents.
Location:
- National City
- Full-time (40 hours per week, open to schedule)
- Shift: PMs (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
- Administer medications following established protocols
- Conduct head-to-toe assessments
- Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, weight)
- Assist with breathing treatments
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse (RN) and other team members
- Ensure compliance with agency standards and guidelines
- Current LVN license in the state of practice
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience in psychiatric acute care or a related clinic
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Successful completion of screening tests
- Ability to communicate effectively and participate in de-escalation techniques
- Must pass criminal background screening
- Current TB test or chest x-ray
- PALS/ACLS certification (as per contract requirements)
