Job description
Amergis Healthcare Services is seeking multiple Behavior Technicians for K-12 schools in Lodi and Stockton, CA. Behavior Technicians either work one-on-one with students who receive special education or related services, have a 504 plan, or with students in a Special Education Classroom.
Some cases include:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD),
Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDDNOS)
Childhood Dis-integrative Disorder (CDD)
Other
Location: Lodi or Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday (5-6 hours a day)
Part time options available
Pay: $18 an hour starting rate
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follows the instructions of the BCBA/program supervisor
Provides behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients
Provides behavior support services
Provides crisis intervention
Implements behavior plans
Documents session per policies and procedures
Provides administrative support to teachers
Monitors child development
Prepares education materials
Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent required
Current CPR certification (we can help you sign up for a class)
Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required
