Position Title: Recruiter
Department: People and Culture
Reports to: Lead Recruiter
FLSA Status: Exempt
Travel: This position requires 50% travel during the work week.
Position Purpose and Objectives
As a Field Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the recruitment process within our organization. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Recruiter, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring experience. Your primary responsibilities will include managing recruitment databases and providing administrative support through the recruiting process. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Consults with management to determine hiring needs for the company.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Uses internet sites to research potential candidates.
  • Posts available positions on career sites.
  • Maintain knowledge of current strategies for using digital media for sourcing.
  • Coordinate pre-employment/promotion background, drug screen, and motor vehicle record checks as appropriate and receives results.
  • Assist HR and Operations team with hiring activities for new store openings.
  • Collaborates in editing current job descriptions and creating ones for new roles within the company.
  • Collaborates with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Actively researches and participates in a variety of job fair formats.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience within a recruiting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Application Tracking Systems (ATS). Administrator skills a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and positive outcomes on annual Motor Vehicle Record reports, background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of several interdependent teams; specifically, human resources and operations.
  • Creative mindset and outlook to find mutually beneficial and satisfying solutions to management and employee challenges.
  • Open-minded, global, objective, and approachable in order to develop effective relationships with all levels of management.
  • Skilled in verbal and written communications as well as in one-on-one and group interactions.
  • Bilingual language skills a plus.
  • Experience posting and navigating various job boards (like really, LinkedIn, etc.) required.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.

Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Frequently - Walking on tile/concrete, bending, feeling, and reaching waist/overhead level.
  • Continuously - Standing on tile/concrete, talking, seeing, and hearing.
Other:
  • Mostly regular and weekend hours, occasionally working evenings and holiday hours as needed.
  • Working environment includes inside of building with controlled temperatures and outside conditions with varying weather and temperatures.
