American Academy of Gymnastics is looking to expand our recreational coaching staff to support a rapidly growing rec program! We have positions for Instructors in beginner and intermediate level recreational gymnastics classes for boys and girls of all ages. Gymnastics experience is preferred, coaching experience strongly preferred. Opportunities for advanced classes and competitive coaching duties are available as well, based on experience and performance.
Recreational Program
AAG instructors work with children ages 1 and up in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. You will teach beginner and advanced beginner level gymnastics skills using a progression-based curriculum. Patience, positivity and enthusiasm are a must.
Additional Duties
Instructors must be able to make time to set up and break down stations and equipment before and after class. You will also be asked to perform routine cleaning and light maintenance at the start and end of your shift. All instructors are expected to become familiar with AAG's class curriculum, lesson plans and program structure (training materials and support are available).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
