  • This job supports the critical role of assisting and leading process standardization and changes in the Line Maintenance & GSE organizations at American Airlines.
  • This is a great opportunity to broaden your understanding of maintenance operations with a clear focus on safety and compliance through reporting, communications and process improvements. The role is a part of the Process Standardization team within our Tech Ops Line Maintenance & GSE group. You’ll bring your abilities to collaborate across a broad range of partners, develop robust reporting tools and providing important communications to strengthen our team.

  • Assist maintenance leadership teams with reviews and assessment of risk areas with a focus on improvement opportunities involving safety and compliance
  • Provide recommendations and work closely with our Corporate Safety team to develop relevant and pertinent communications and focus elements
  • Work closely with maintenance leadership to identify gaps in processes and establish better methods to further build a strong Just Culture at American Airlines
  • Directly engage with front line personnel and leadership to standardize and implement industry leading processes
All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent technical degree or certification
  • 5 years Line Maintenance or other direct Maintenance related experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Maintenance safety and compliance processes
  • 10 years in Technical Operations role
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
  • FAA A&P License
