American Aluminum Extrusion Company, LLC is Hiring a General Accountant Near Roscoe, IL
- Enter vendor invoices into the system, including coding invoices to the proper general ledger account, and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors on invoice discrepancies and return calls for payment status.
- Add new vendors to the accounting system after verification of the appropriate paperwork.
- Send out monthly spending reports to managers and assist with cost analytics.
- Complete filing and documentation as required.
- Cross-train, learn, and support other functions or processes as required.
- Honest and fiscally responsible.
- Basic knowledge of accounting practices.
- Proven ability to multi-task and work at a consistent pace.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Computer literate.
- A minimum of two years of experience in accounting preferred.
- Able to work in an office environment with extensive time on the computer.
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
