The Science Writer in the Communications and Public Relations Department is responsible for translating scientific data and information related to cancer research into content that helps educate the public, media, policymakers, and the health care industry; the writer helps educate the stakeholders about AACRs mission and the importance of biomedical research and funding. In this capacity, the writer assists in implementing AACRs communications and public relations plans that facilitate the accurate communication and reporting of the latest advances in cancer research from AACRs conferences, peer-reviewed journals, partnerships, and other scientific activities.
