DescriptionBe part of the founding team of a new nursing program, we are making history by going back to the historical roots of nursing. Saint Mary’s is influenced by the Careful Nursing Philosophy and Professional Practice Model. We value a holistic approach to health care that addresses physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual health. We respect inherent human dignity for all people at all stages of life. Bring your passion for nursing to our energetic team. Distinguishing factors: Direct-Entry Cohort Model, Concept-based learning; Competency-based assessment; ATI complete bundle; Careful Nursing Framework; Catholic Health Care Ethics; and Debriefing for Meaningful Learning. The program is approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and accredited by CCNE. The curriculum is aligned to the 2021 AACN New Essentials. The Nursing Team includes: Director of Nursing, Academic Credentialing Specialist, Simulation Education Coordinator(Faculty), and Clinical Coordinator(Faculty). Saint Mary’s has over 12 clinical partners in our region and over 500 hours of clinical learning in the curriculum. Our new nursing suite opened in 2021 and simulation technology was installed in 2023. Nursing courses and clinicals launched in Fall 2023. We have multiple nursing positions available in various specialty areas as we continue to launch our new program and grow enrollment.
