Job Overview:

We are seeking a Driver’s Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be competent and comfortable with installing various home appliances and ensuring they are set up correctly and functioning properly.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload cargo manually using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and shoulder dollies
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of items
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to report any issues or changes in delivery schedule
• Install products according to specifications and follow company policies
• Perform test cycles to ensure product is functioning properly

Requirements:

• Familiarity with local roads and routes
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Proficiency in moving & handling materials efficiently and cargo securement

Starting pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: Variable shift length 5 -10 hrs/day

Day range: Monday to Saturday

Experience level: Some experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
